Email Filtering

For a product to be accredited to the Checkmark Email Filtering certification, the product must ensure that attempts to send or receive emails with contents that are in contravention of a standard email usage security policy will fail and that all such attempts will be logged.

Two levels of Checkmark Email Filtering Certification may be achieved. Checkmark PREMIUM Certification is awarded to any solution where 100% of attempts to send emails in contravention of the security policy fail and that all such attempts are logged. The Checkmark STANDARD Certification is awarded to any solution where 97% or more of attempts to send emails in contravention of the security policy fail and where all such attempts are logged
